In April of 2024, the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued an update to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The update mandates that web content provided to state and local government entities, including colleges and universities, comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA by April 24, 2026.
